Que es?
The Weblog of Brett Singer. Bringing the world what it needs most - a blog.

Note: Sorry about all of the 'hot deals' entries (someone referred to this blog as CorporateShill.com).
The deals and things are being fed into Multineedia.com. We will soon move the deals category over to Multineedia so you don't have to read it, and we apologize for any inconvenience.

Godspeed You Black Emperor! at archive.org

Great band and I don't have any of their stuff, so its nice to find a freebie like this. There's lots more, so I guess this isn't exactly a secret, but it's the first time I found it, so maybe its news to somebody else too.

WOW LOOK @ DIS FOXX BGHT MYSPACE KEWL DOOD

Wow. Good for them, I guess.
News Corp, the company run by media mogul Rupert Murdoch, has made one of its first major internet purchases.
It has bought Intermix Media, owner of Myspace.com, the fifth most-viewed internet domain in the US and owner of other sites for $580m (£332.85m).

I'm telling you people, the boom is coming back. Maybe not as big as it was before, but its coming back. Thanks to Kevin for the link.

    Why Microsoft AntiSpyware Is Untrustworthy

Just when you think Microsoft did something important the
right way, it does the worst possible thing. What is going
    through the company's head?
The security business is not like most of the software
categories in which Microsoft participates. People care
about reputations. Users have to trust the product. And you
just can't trust a product that tells you to ignore the fact
that Claria's GAIN software is installed on your system.

I didn't take much stock in MS' antispyware thingy to begin with, but this definitely takes the whole company down a few pegs. I suppose the same place that thought the world would be thrilled by Microsoft Bob (not to mention Windows ME) is capable of some pretty stupid moves.

We're going to do something stupid

From Yahoo! Sports: Rangers owner Tom Hicks said the team is considering all trade options, but ``not if (other teams) want certain young pitchers. (Team executives) are up in the war room right now, and we'll be aggressive. But we're going to do something stupid for instant results.''

Ummm... you're going to do something stupid? Typo? Freudian slip? Referring to the Yankees?
